This is a project about the time I spend at home. Home has always been a hiding place for me from the real world. Every day has become like the next one. I find myself in a never-ending loop, trapped, wanting to escape but constantly falling back. With this work, I portray the feeling of insecurity in the form of light satire. It comes uninvited and always tells me to stay in, to reject any opportunities the outside world might offer. My experiences and feelings are represented through interactions with the people who share my living space and with objects I encounter every day. Even before the global pandemic, my friends and I found ourselves preferring to stay indoors and just order a delivery, it’s just a touch away.
